Defqon.1 has revealed the full line up at The Release

Defqon.1 has revealed almost all the details, including the line-up, for its 20th edition through its broadcast 'The Release'.

After its well-known 'The Release', Defqon.1 has announced almost all the details of its next edition. Held on June 27 - 28 in Biddinghuizen, it will be, according to its own organization, the 20th edition of the festival. More than 250.000 'Weekend Warriors' coming from all over the world met last year to enjoy 4 completely crazy days.

In short, this is all the information divided by days announced in 'The Release':

  • Sound Rush will open BLUE as 'anthem-makers', while Mad Dog will do the same at BLACK.
  • 'The Tribute' at the UV, where tribute will be paid to a legendary hardstyle song.

  • Luciid and Cynthia Spiering will perform for the first time at GREEN.
  • Showtek will be back after many years at RED.

  • The biggest 'Warrior Workout' to date at RED.
  • Rooler and Dual Damage will debut at RED and BLUE, respectively.
  • Angerfist will perform for the first time at RED, becoming the first hardcore artist to do so.

  • The Closing Ceremony will be extended to 5 hours, compared to 3 hours in previous years. There are no confirmed artists at the moment, but one Defqon.1 legend after another will close this edition in spectacular ceremony.

In addition, it will have after-parties, shows and entertainment areas that will be revealed soon. On May 23 in 'The Warming-Up' we will know the latest details of what promises to be, once again, a brutal experience.
